Digital foundations | First steps to business digitisation for SMEs in the built environment sector

This month, I-Construct industry expert will be sharing his expertise in business digitisation. After 34 years working for a main contractor, Peter set up a management consultancy and now helps SME businesses flourish, developing bespoke programs which deliver fast results.

Peter will start by exploring why digitisation is important for SME contractors and others in the construction supply chain. He’ll then explain how digital solutions support different business functions including marketing and customer services, accounts, HR and safety.

Offering practical advice, Peter will highlight the options for managing information, data security and how to find support. Finally, looking at a range of stand-alone and integrated solutions, exploring the benefits of off-the-shelf software versus bespoke.
